Buxton 6th November
The last meeting of the season
took place at Buxton on 6th November. Local racer Ken
Marriott 22 took a flag to flag victory in Heat 1. Then an
on form Micky Preston 36 took Heat 2 and the Final from the
back of the grid. We were given an additional Allcomers race
which was won by Ken Marriot, the final race of the 2011
season.
Long time racer Steve [shakey] Dakin was a guest driver in
the black 43 car and instantly showed great speed.
Trophies were presented at the end of the meeting with Lee
Dimmick 59 winning the tarmac points series, and Micky
Preston 36 winning the overall points and shale points
championships. Both of these drivers were driving PeterD
chassis from Arizona, next year there will be 2 new Pro
Chassis racing from Deleware, and it will be interesting to
see which chassis comes out on top.
With more cars coming in from the USA and cars being built
over here, 2012 looks as though its going to be a stunner
for these super fast little cars

New cars from the states
Former f2 + f1 driver simon panton has ordered a 2011 pro
chassis with a 2006 suzuki gsxr motor in it. From the pro
race car facility in deleware usa.
simon has raced the spare micky preston car and the matt
lomas car several times this season and looks as though he
is going to be a winner in 2012.
not to be outdone by this. matt lomas 03 has ordered the
exact same spec car,and so has his current car up for sale.
both cars should arrive in the uk at the end of november,
the uk mods have a good working relationship with walt from
pro racecars who will help us out with as little as a
wheelnut up to a completely new racecar.
New UK built car
Rick Keeling and Micky Preston are currently building a new
chassis based on ricks extensively modified 2004 pro chassis,
the car will be built with an offset ford rear axle and
fiesta rear wheel hub assemblies on the front end to make
parts more obtainable, the car should be a roller by the
middle of january and will be for sale at any stage of

Spare car for sale
The 16 car for sale. 02 pro chassis with 03 yamaha r1 motor.
Full set of slicks on wheels and set of wets which double up
as shale tyres. ally radiator. brake bias gauges and
adjuster, right side front brake lock off. ally calipers,
light weight rear discs, spare diffs, needs some tlc but has
all the right parts to make a good competitive car call rick
